Mom & I went out for lunch today before her haircut app't. During today's app't Brent (her stylist in Madison) washed it and cut it short. Mom is now just waiting to see what the new hair will be like when it grows back. Brent also cut and shaped her wig. It looks really nice. She is sporting it now. She did a great job, only a few tears. I am proud at how VERY strong she was today and is always. Kris

Hello from Charlottesville, VA...
Hi Kathy (and Kris and Kim and Duane!)
Just saying HI and letting you know that I am thinking of you all--often!
Kathy, I'm sending you a BIG HUG via cyberspace--can you feel it!??
much love to you all,
Melissa
Hi Duane, Kathy, Kris, Jason and pets
All seems well based on the blog. Kathy, sounds as though you are tolerating your "Drugs" without side effects. Build up your strength for those BADGER games! Brett B is hopeful for his team. Do you have plans to go to Vegas? Steve and I have a wedding that weekend of our very close friend's daughter so we will be staying in WI. Steve's brother Ed as well as Edie and their daughter Jill, and her boyfriend Andy are going. Marty and Nancy, Krista's parents, are also going.
Did you hear that Steve and I are going to be grandparents? Yes, Mike and Krista are going to have a baby in March 2008. Don't know the sex of this little one yet but they will find out within the next months. So, Steve and I are looking forward to more trips to the Mad City. Did you also hear that MAD CITY won the State and National water ski titles? Oh, it was a great time in Rockford last weekend. We were so proud---it was a great entertaining, funny show. Skip Gilkerson told the team that he thought it was the "best amatuer show he has ever see."
Oh, it brings back memories of the olden days when our kids rode in the boat the entire day. This weekend it was so hot---we wondered how we ever rode in the boat that long!
Well take care and we are praying for those nasty cancer cells to "bug off". LOVE
Steve and Judy
Hi Aunt Kathy,
It's so nice of your girls to have this blog to keep everyone in the loop, thank you so much. You are always in our prayers and we are all sending giant hugs your way too. We think your amazing and we love you!
All our love,
Andy, Heidi, Noah and Isabella too xoxo
